‘Teen Mom 2’ Leah Messer On Facebook: ‘Let Your Words Heal, And Not Wound’

Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer has been accused of a lot on the sixth season of the show. In addition to reports of her abusing her prescription medication, the reality star has also been accused of failing at her parental duties. But rather than address the issues on social media, as the other Teen Mom 2 stars have done in the past, Messer has chosen to remain silent on the topics. She has, however, been vocal on social media, and recently shared a message which may have been aimed at her ex-husband, Corey Simms.

On August 5, Messer shared the following message with fans on Facebook.

“Today will never come again. Be a blessing. Be a friend. Encourage someone. Take time to care. Let your words heal, and not wound.”

Throughout Teen Mom 2 Season 6, Messer and Simms have been at odds over their parental duties. While Messer is responsible for getting their girls, 5-year-olds Ali and Aleeah, to school on time, Simms claims they are often late, or don’t show up at all, and also revealed Ali has missed a number of physical therapy sessions because of his ex-wife.

Because Messer appears to be unable to get her kids to school and therapy, Simms requested more time with the girls, but Messer wouldn’t grant his wish.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, the former Teen Mom 2 couple were seen at odds over the situation during a recent episode of Teen Mom 2. On the show, Simms explained to Messer why he should have the girls during certain days of the week.

“If I have them for that extra little bit, that’s an extra little bit that I don’t have to worry about it. I don’t want you to take this the wrong way, but that’s time that I don’t have to worry: ‘Are they tardy?’ or ‘Are they late?’ Or ‘Are they there, or are they not?’

I was a sick a couple weekends ago and eating toast, and Aleeah’s like, ‘Oh I know how to make a toast.’ I’m like, ‘How the hell do you know how to make a toast? How do you even know how to use a toaster?’ This is what she said. She said, ‘Cause my mommy’s a sleepy head, and I have to make myself breakfast.’ Whenever your child says that, and she can show you how to make toast in a toaster to back up what she said, that’s hard!”

Teen Mom 2 Season 6 airs on Thursday nights at 10 p.m. on MTV.
