Is It A Bird? Is It A Plane? Or Is A UFO Spying On A Virgin Atlantic Flight? Experts Are Baffled [Video]

“You can believe in UFOs and be logical … as well.” Those were the wise words of British UFO expert Russ Kellett when he was asked to theorize about the now viral video of a supposed alien craft out flying a Virgin Atlantic jet.

He’s not convinced the shaky video proves much of anything and in the age of drones, footage of unidentified flying objects are less earth-shattering than they once were.

As Kellett put it; the UFO could be anything.

The video was shot on July 7 as the Virgin Atlantic flight took off at JFK airport, Huffington Post UK reported. It appears to be a normal, run-of-the-mill flight until, suddenly, a dark grey shape scuttles past the plane, then flies right past it and off screen.

Its airtime is brief, but the sight is admittedly strange.

UFO expert Scott Waring seems so convinced that he’s offered an explanation for why the object would be hanging out so close to a Virgin Atlantic plane; it’s conducting reconnaissance.

“Alien drones do investigate everything that flies, from planes to kites they shoot past to do a quick scan and satisfy their curiosity.”

Of course, it’s possible that this is simply another airplane, but others have argued that the two are simply too close together for that to be possible.

Back to UFO expert Russ; he said he usually sends off any footage he gets to an expert for enhancing to verify his own sightings, but he was prepared to provide some non-committal, cautious insights about the Virgin Atlantic footage.

“It seems to get narrower and wider as it’s moving, it’s hard to say. There should be nothing getting that close to an aircraft. It doesn’t look to be a bird or anything like that but at a different angle it could be anything … It comes behind from the aeroplane’s tail, you can tell it’s behind but it does move sort of like a bird, when something’s moving when the wings are flapping. If it’s moving away, it will give that appearance.”

The person who filmed the strange video hasn’t been identified but apparently makes a habit of filming airplanes in order to catch a UFO in action. The YouTube channel that posted it, LookNowTV, has vouched for the amateur filmmaker and alien enthusiast, The Daily Mirror added.

“I worked with the guy that filmed the link below,” said Rick from LookNow. “I have no reason to believe this guy is a hoax. It’s really unidentified. I shared it with my friends to get further opinions on it, and we could not come to a definitive conclusion on what the object might be so I decided to go with it and share it online.”
