Demi Lovato Is ‘Super Jealous’ Of Miley, While Wilmer Valderrama Isn’t The Jealous Type

Demi Lovato is the jealous type, while her boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama is a little more laid-back. The “Cool For the Summer” singer dished in her very candid interview with Cosmopolitan magazine.

The 22-year-old told the women’s magazine why she used to be “super jealous” of her fellow Disney cast mate Miley Cyrus. Lovato admits that she used to wish that she could go out and party much like the wild “Wrecking Ball” singer loves to do, as seen in her countless Instagram photos.

“There was a time when I was jealous of people who were able to party. For instance, Miley, in her music video ‘Can’t Stop,’ her whole thing was partying and not giving a f–k. Part of me was super jealous that I couldn’t be like that. I had to look at my life and be like, ‘OK, that’s just not what you can do. There’s no need to be bitter about it.'”

There is one person who’s not so jealous, and that’s her boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama. Demi dished all when it came to her relationship with her boyfriend of five years. She says that Wilmer is not jealous of her male friends, including her friendships with her ex-boyfriends, including Joe Jonas.

“Nick [Jonas] and Wilmer get along great — Joe and Wilmer too. It’s weird. In the beginning, I was like, ‘Why the f— are you friends with Joe?’ He was like, ‘He’s a cool guy.’ Yeah, I know. I dated him.”

Lovato also revealed that the only time she split with Valderrama was when she relapsed. The couple were reportedly on and off during most of their relationship.

“The only times we ever broke up were when I was relapsing, whether it was drugs or in a bad place and rebelling against everybody, not just him… People say that relapses happen before you use. Your mind starts setting up the relapse before you take that drink or that first hit. The times we’d broken up, I had already gone to that place of, ‘Yeah, this is what’s happening.’ I didn’t realize it at the time, but I just wanted to sabotage everything around me so that I could sabotage myself.”?

As previously noted via the Latin Times, Lovato looked “fierce” in the September 2015 issue of the magazine. She owns the cover by wearing a sexy silver sequin with a plunging neckline a dangerously high hemline. It’s so high that it almost shows off Lovato’s bum! Both Cosmo and the sexy singer shared the cover photo on their Twitter accounts.

Demi took to Instagram to share some of the photos from her steamy photo shoot with Cosmopolitan. The singer strips down to nothing but underwear and denim cutoff shorts in some of the pictures. Demi has been working out hard at the gym lately – and it shows.

The singer’s new song “Cool For the Summer” spiked up Hot AC radio’s Top 15. Last week, it was in the Top 20, and two weeks ago it was in the Top 30. It also surged up to the Top 40 on adult contemporary radio and rhythmic radio. Lovato’s new song also sits at No. 11 on pop radio.
