Photo Of Bobbi Kristina Brown’s Body In Casket Reportedly Sold To Media Outlet For Six Figures

A photo of Bobbi Kristina Brown’s body lying in her casket was taken during the private viewing for the daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown. Despite security measures, the photo was somehow snapped without the family’s knowledge. The viewing for 22-year-old Bobbi Kristina was held on July 31, the day before her funeral. The photo has reportedly been sold to a media outlet for more than $100,000, according to TMZ.

While TMZ did not name the media outlet, Entertainment Tonight reported they have a source who alleged the photo of Bobbi Kristina was sold to the National Enquirer. Entertainment Tonight said they reached out to the National Enquirer for comment but have not heard back.

Tensions between the Brown and Houston families have already been running high as they’ve fought over matters such as money. Leolah Brown, Bobbi Kristina’s aunt, was escorted out of the funeral service by Tyler Perry and security during the eulogy given by Bobbi Kristina’s aunt from her mother’s side of the family, Pat Houston. Leolah has accused Pat of using Bobbi Kristina’s name for personal gain.

Leolah Brown told reporters, “Whitney will haunt Pat Houston from the grave. Pat, it’s not over… It has just begun.”

The families blame each other for the leaked photo of Bobbi Kristina. The Brown family reportedly worried about a potentially leaked photo of Bobbi Kristina since the same thing happened to her mother. A photo of Whitney Houston’s body in her casket was leaked in 2012 and was published on the cover of the National Enquirer.

On Monday, Bobbi Kristina Brown was buried next to her mother in Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, New Jersey. Bobbi Kristina’s grandmother, Cissy Houston, and aunt, Pat Houston, attended the burial service. Bobbi Kristina’s father, Bobby Brown, however, did not attend, and it’s believed he may have had to stay with his wife. Bobby’s wife had been rushed to the hospital Saturday night, only hours after Bobbi Kristina’s funeral, after reportedly suffering from a seizure in their hotel room.

The funeral director asked for prayers for Cissy Houston, 81-years old, as she has buried both her daughter, Whitney, and granddaughter, Bobbi Kristina, in the span of three short years.

Bobbi Kristina Brown died on July 26, nearly six months after she was found unresponsive in a bathtub in her Georgia home. Bobbi Kristina had been moved to hospice care.

While in completely poor taste, hopefully the media outlet who has reportedly purchased the photo of Bobbi Kristina Brown at her viewing will do the right thing and choose not to publish it. Do you think the outlet will publish the photo of Bobbi Kristina Brown?
