Sonja Morgan On Helping Ramona: ‘Divorce Can Hit You Like A Death’

Sonja Morgan is trying to prove herself on The Real Housewives of New York this season, because all of her co-stars believe that she is self-medicating and trying to establish a business without finding much success. Morgan, on the other hand, simply wants some support from the ladies, who are running million-dollar companies.

But Sonja Morgan is dealing with more things than any of the other ladies. Morgan has recently settled her bankruptcy case, and she is still caught up in a divorce. Sonja’s ex-husband continues to owe her spousal support, as they have a daughter together. Now that Ramona Singer is going through the same thing, Morgan is there for her friend.

According to a new Bravo report, Sonja Morgan is now revealing that divorce can be completely tough on people, and she wants to be supportive of Ramona. As fans have seen on the show, Ramona is struggling a bit.

“Divorce can hit you like a death, especially a complicated one like mine. The key to moving on is to face your demons and then onwards and upwards as my insignia ring on my pinky says. I wear it every day to remind me. I know the girls in this group like to say that I am stuck in the past, but I am living very much in the present,” Sonja Morgan reveals in her blog, adding, “I have always prided myself on my ability to live in the moment. I think the girls are stuck on my past–and only the one after my ex. What about the past before my ex? They act as if I wasn’t on the planet before my ex.”

Sonja Morgan really wants to help her friend find love again, but it sounds like Singer is desperate to look on her own. Unlike Morgan, who spends time in St. Tropez, Singer is going after men right in New York.

“I am happy to help Ramona delve into her new identity as a single woman. I have been single for some time now, so this is more my expertise than Ramona’s. She is very green and will need a lot of coaching, but she will be just fine!” Sonja adds.

But even though Sonja wants to help her friend rebound after divorce, she has been disappointed in Ramona’s behavior. According to the Inquisitr, Sonja was shocked that her friend was talking behind her back and making accusations that she has been self-medicating.
