Gwen Stefani, Gavin Rossdale Divorce: Did Gavin Cheat On Gwen With The Nanny? [Rumor]

When Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale announced their divorce to Us Weekly, some fans were shocked that the seemingly solid couple of 13 years were about to part ways. Others who were fans of Stefani weren’t surprised, as rumors of Gavin Rossdale’s infidelity have been haunting the couple for years.

As the Inquisitr reported earlier, Gavin’s cheating was the reason why the couple separated. Now, it’s being reported that Rossdale might have been cheating on Gwen with the nanny. According to Radar Online, a source told the outlet about the newest nannygate report. “Gwen is absolutely devastated about the marriage ending, and she has been inconsolable.”

The insider continued, revealing that Gavin was having a fling with their babysitter. “But she had no other choice. She was very suspicious that Gavin was involved with the nanny. Gavin always denied anything inappropriate, but her friends warned her that it seemed like there was something going on.”

This isn’t the only time Gavin’s name has come up in a nanny scandal. In fact, photos stem from 2012 of Rossdale grabbing the rear end of a “nanny.” That said, it was later revealed that the said nanny was actually his sister, Soraya. Rossdale and Stefani hired a new babysitter, but fired her once Gwen became suspicious of Gavin and the nanny.

“She had no choice but to fire the nanny, and she no longer works for them. Gwen’s main concern is simply protecting the kids.”

In addition to cheating allegations, Stefani was not pleased with the never-ending touring schedule that Gavin has with his rock band, Bush. This meant he was on the road for months at a time, and the family didn’t get to see the frontman as often as they would have liked.

Gwen and Gavin did try to work out their marriage, especially after their last child, Apollo, was born. A source said, “Things were rocky before then, but they tried to make the marriage work, but it just couldn’t. A lot of the feeling was gone.”

It’s reported that the two are seeking joint custody over their children, Kingston, 9, Zuma, 6, and Apollo, 17 months.

Although the couple hasn’t spoken about the rumors, in the official court documents that Stefani filed in Los Angeles, it cites “irreconcilable differences” for the end of their marriage.
