Microsoft E3 Press Conference To Be Streamed on Xbox Live, Broadcast on Spike

Spike will once again be streaming Microsoft’s E3 press conference, which is set to take place on June 4 at around 9:30 a.m. Pacific. If you would prefer to watch the press conference straight from your Xbox 360, however, this time you’ll be able to do that.

Microsoft’s “Xbox: Entertainment Evolved” press conference, as they’re calling it, will for the first time be available for streaming straight from your Xbox 360. Microsoft’s E3 press conference is expected to last around 90 minutes.

Not a whole lot is known about what Microsoft will be showing off at this year’s E3 presentation, but it is known that Halo 4 will be a big presence during the conference. You can naturally expect quite a lot of talk about Kinect as well.

If there’s one thing Microsoft says you won’t be hearing about this year, it’s a next-gen console announcement. Despite rumors to the contrary, Microsoft says it has no plans to make any new hardware announcements at E3 this year.

Of course, it’s also entirely possible that Microsoft was fibbing in an attempt to keep the announcement under wraps. We’ll know for sure by the end of Microsoft’s press conference on June 4.

Would you want to a next-gen console announcement at this year’s E3, or are you still content with your current console of choice?
