Emily Ratajkowski’s personal nude photos were leaked during “The Fappening,” that flood of stolen naked celebrity pictures that were posted online last year. Many celebrity victims accused anyone who looked at their photos of committing a crime, but Emily doesn’t agree with this stance.
During her recent interview with GQ, Emily Ratajkowski revealed that she doesn’t think that everyone on Reddit and 4chan needs to be charged with a crime. The way the Gone Girl actress sees it, whoever is responsible for stealing the photos is the only one who deserves to be punished over the pictures, and she doesn’t even think that the people who looked at them should feel guilty for doing so.
“A lot of people who were victims of that said anyone who looks at these pictures should feel guilty, but I just don’t think that’s fair. I think once it’s out there, it’s out there, and I’m not sure that anyone who googles it is necessarily a criminal. I think the people that stole the photos are.”
Emily Ratajkowski’s views are completely at odds with those of Jennifer Lawrence, the most famous victim of The Fappening. During an interview with Vanity Fair, Lawrence revealed that wants everyone who looks at her nude photos to feel like they’ve committed a crime.
“Anybody who looked at those pictures, you’re perpetuating a sexual offense,” Lawrence said. “You should cower with shame. Even people who I know and love say, ‘Oh, yeah, I looked at the pictures.’ I don’t want to get mad, but at the same time I’m thinking, I didn’t tell you that you could look at my naked body.”
Perhaps Emily Ratajkowski is so comfortable with her body that she simply doesn’t care if people see more of it. Jennifer Lawrence never posed for nude photos or appeared naked in a movie before her stolen pictures were leaked online, and she told Vanity Fair that she was afraid of how the photos would affect her career. However, Emily’s main claim to fame is appearing topless in the “Blurred Lines” music video, and she’s posed for multiple nude photo shoots — she obviously doesn’t have to worry about how being seen naked is going to affect her career.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Emily actually asked her father to share his thoughts on her first nude photo, so the thought of having millions of other people see her bare body probably doesn’t scare her at all.
During her interview with GQ, Emily explained that she doesn’t mind taking on sexy projects like the “Blurred Lines” video shoot because she’s a “sexual person.” She also talked about what being a feminist means to her, and she revealed that she shares Sir Mix-A-Lot’s “unhealthy thoughts” when it comes to choosing lovers.
“Making sure you get what you want in sex. And feeling sexual without feeling like it’s for someone else… Being in love and acting sexually on it in a million different ways is empowering. I love men’s butts I shouldn’t have to feel embarrassed of that.”
Hear that, boys? If you want to get Emily Ratajkowski’s attention, you might need to invest in Kylie Jenner’s favorite butt-enhancing cream.
