Monday Night Football is back — Canadian style, and fans of the three-down game can watch live online as the Toronto Argonauts battle their southern Ontario rivals the Hamilton Tiger Cats in a Week Six game with first place in the Canadian Football League East Division at stake. The game will be the first of the 2015 season for the Tiger-Cats in their home stadium, Tim Hortons Field, where the Tiger-Cats have been literally unbeatable — winning all seven games they’ve played there since the 24,000-seat facility opened in September of 2014.

Thanks to the Pan-Am Games and the Toronto Blue Jays hold on Rogers Stadium, the Argonauts have also played all four of their games on the road this season. And though Monday night’s game in Hamilton will also be a road game, with under 40 miles between Hamilton and Toronto, the Argos feel as if they’re coming home at last.
The stadium is already sold out for the Monday Night Football game.
“It’s going to be a great atmosphere,” said Toronto receiver Chad Owens. “As a pro football player, any football player for that matter at any level, that’s all you can ask for, a great atmosphere. You want to have the energy the crowd provides and use it. All that aside, we’ve got to understand that they are a good football team and we need to bring our best in order to win this football game.”
Both teams come into the game off of come-from-behind victories over Western Division teams. Toronto edged the B.C. Lions 30-27 last week in Vancouver after falling behind by 21 points. In Saskatchewan, the Tiger-Cats surged past the Rough Riders 31-21.
Toronto leads the East with a 3-1 record, not only compiled entirely on the road against Western teams, but made even more impressive by the fact that the Argonauts sport the newest roster in the CFL, with 34 players either in the first or second year playing the Canadian pro game.
A win by Toronto with enable the Argos to separate themselves from the East Division pack, with eight points and 12 games remaining on their schedule. But with a Tiger-Cats win, Hamilton moves into a three way tie on points for the East lead, with both teams as well as the Ottawa Redblacks at 3-2.
