Sons of Anarchy star Charlie Hunnam has been making waves on social media lately. The actor was recently spotted by a number of excited fans in Belfast, who instantly posted their pics with the Hollywood star on social media.
Hunnam is in Belfast for the filming of his upcoming movie, The Lost City of Z. Starring alongside Hunnam in the new film is Robert Pattinson and Sienna Miller.
Hunnam was spotted in the city by a few fans, and looked happy to pose with a couple of them. In fact, Mellissa Largey posted an image of her and Hunnam on the streets of Belfast on her Instagram account. The picture shows Hunnam in a flat cap with the caption: "Can't actually believe I met #charliehunnam today! Best day of my life! #SOA..."
The post quickly sent fans all over Belfast in a frenzy as they tried to locate Hunnam. A few other fans were successful, subsequently posting their images with Hunnam on both Twitter and Instagram.
Along with his role in The Lost City of Z, Hunnam is preparing for the release of another project in the upcoming gothic horror film, Crimson Peak. Hunnam plays the role of Dr. Alan McMichael, and will appear alongside Mia Wasikowska, Tom Hiddleston, Jessica Chastain, and Jim Beaver.
With that in mind, Chastain recently revealed to E! Online that Charlie Hunnam gave her the sweetest birthday present while on set for the Guillermo del Toro movie. "He's so nice. He bought me this incredible thoughtful birthday present, this amazing artist and this book of photographs," she stated. "He's just this normal down-to-earth [guy]. So cool."
Chastain went on the reveal that, while she was worried she would fall in love with her co-star, nothing happened between them. "I did not fall in love with Charlie. I do love him, but I'm not in love with him."
At the same time, Hunnam praised his co-star for her part in the movie. "She's wonderful in the film," Hunnam told Details Magazine. "I think it's one of Guillermo's best films, if not maybe his best film," he added.
Crimson Peak centers on the story of a young author, played by Wasikowska, who marries Sir Thomas Sharpe, played by Hiddleston, and moves into Sharpe's creepy mansion. Things quickly turn for the worse for Wasikowska, as the man she married is not what he appeared to be.
Catch Charlie Hunnam in Crimson Peak when it hits theaters on October 16.
