‘Twilight’ Star Robert Pattinson And FKA Twigs Moving Forward With Wedding Plans, Is Ex Kristen Stewart Invited?
It appears as though the rumors that Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs were ready to cancel their wedding plans after Twigs refused to invite Kristen Stewart are unfounded. According to Gossip Cop, the couple is moving forward with their wedding, and have no plans to postpone their highly anticipated union.
The rumors started when Celebrity Dirty Laundry reported that Twigs’ relationship with Pattinson was starting to become strained. The website stated that Twigs was trying to control all of the details of the wedding, including who they were planning on inviting, which led to a rift between the two.
Things allegedly hit a tipping point after Twigs told Pattinson that he couldn’t invite any of his Twilight cast members to the wedding, including his ex-girlfriend, Stewart. Given Pattinson’s affinity for his fellow Twilight stars, Pattinson’s reaction to Twigs’ request wasn’t good.
The tabloid added that Robert Pattinson recently told the Italian press that his days on Twilight were something he would always cherish. “The success of Twilight is something special that I will never regret,” Pattinson stated. “Since I started this career I am trying to improve myself, to challenge myself with different roles compared to those I have already interpreted.”
Pattinson added that, while he appreciates what the Twilight franchise did for his career, he hopes his career is defined by his work on other projects. “If in 10 years they will speak of me still just as ‘the one from Twilight‘, the blame will be mine alone.”
Despite the rumors that Twigs and Pattinson were heading for a split, it seems as though the reports made by Celebrity Dirty Laundry are now in question.
According to the article by Gossip Cop, an inside source revealed that the reports were “stupid” and “wrong” in every way possible. This news comes on the heels of Twigs’ recent performance at the Osheaga Music Festival, where the British singer reportedly performed well.
While the reports cannot be verified one way or the other, at least until the wedding takes place (or doesn’t), it still isn’t clear if Stewart and her fellow Twilight stars are invited. It wouldn’t be that much of a surprise if she was invited to the wedding, especially considering the two have made significant steps in moving forward with their lives after their break up.
However, whether or not Stewart decides to attend the wedding between Pattinson and Twigs is another matter entirely.
