Eliza Dushku Takes On One Direction On Twitter: ‘Buffy’ Star Kicked Out Of Hotel Room For Band’s Visit

Eliza Dushku is not a fan of One Direction right now. Dushku took to her Twitter and Instagram to jokingly slam the boyband for an incident that happened on Friday. The actress is currently in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, filming, and she has been staying at the same hotel in the same room for two months, according to Daily Mail.

However, One Direction ended that stay for her.

The boy band is currently on tour, and their most recent U.S. stop was in Pittsburgh. They rented some rooms at a hotel in the area, but the band needed the entire floor. This is when the hotel asked Eliza Dushku to leave the room she had been staying in for the last two months.

She revealed that she had to spend two hours hastily packing her bags on Friday before One Direction arrived to claim the entire floor. She detailed the whole experience on her social media accounts.

In one of her tweets, Eliza used the hash tag #DragMeDown. That is the latest single released by One Direction, which now consists of Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, and Liam Payne. “Drag Me Down” is now the latest hit for the band. A recent Inquisitr report revealed that the song topped on iTunes within 24 hours of its release on Friday.

Eliza’s tweets about the hotel incident did receive a mixed bag of response, according to E! Online. One person said “Blimey the world has gone mad when a boyband from The X Factor gets better treatment then a Buffy legend.”

However, One Direction fans also spoke up as well. One fan said that “To be honest, I would be honored to have to switch hotel rooms for the boys.”

Why is Eliza in Pennsylvania? She has joined Banshee for its fourth and final season. According to A.V. Club, Dushku will play “Agent Veronica Dawson, a tough, sexy FBI profiler. Dawson will presumably have no shortage of personal demons, as that is a prerequisite for every character in a contemporary drama series.”

Banshee airs on Cinemax, and it was renewed for a fourth season in February. However, the fourth season will definitely be its last season. According to TV Line, Jonathan Topper, one of the creators of the series, spoke out about the decision to end the series after just four seasons.

“Banshee has been an incredible ride, and we continue to break new ground in season four. While we certainly considered returning for a fifth season, I always said that when the story was told, it would be time to move on, and that time has come. I am grateful to Cinemax for making Banshee the great success it has been and for supporting our creative decision to wrap things up.”

The series will premiere its final season in January 2016.

Eliza Dushku has kept busy since her time on Buffy The Vampire Slayer. The actress appeared both Dollhouse and Tru Calling for Fox. Her new role on Banshee will show off her dramatic side, but it is clear that the actress has a sense of humor from her tweets over the One Direction incident. She did not blame the hotel at all for the move.

What do you think? Are you surprised that the hotel asked Eliza to leave her hotel room suite when One Direction came to town?
