Actor Dwayne Johnson definitely knows how to do it big on a Cheat Day – and he proved it on Sunday with an Instagram pic.
The San Andreas actor made it clear that he was finally taking a break from the strict diet that he had to stick to for the past four months whole shooting a new film.
“After 4 months of hard dieting and eating clean due to filming (Central Intelligence). This is goin’ down right now in the Johnson household… #HomemadeEpicCheatMeal #FudgePeanutButterBrownies #CinnamonBuns”
With his final two hashtags for this particular post, the 43-year-old actor made two points very clear to his Instagram followers: (1) He is going back on his diet tomorrow and (2) “Daddy’s gotta go to work” tonight.
This is definitely not the first time that Dwayne Johnson has shared an “epic cheat day” with his social media followers.
Usually between major movie projects, the WWE star makes room for at least one epic cheat day which allows him to overload on carbs, sugars and (in this case) sugary foods that he would usually avoid during his strict diet schedules and workout regimens.
every @TheRock cheat day should be a national holiday

@TheRock when are you going to have another cheat day with the 10 pizzas

During one epic cheat day, Dwayne Johnson created a “cheat meal” of epic proportions after 150 days of eating clean. The epic cheat meal consisted of: 12 pancakes, 4 double dough pizzas and 21 brownies.

Dwayne Johnson’s epic cheat meal was apparently inspirational to competitive eater Matt Stonie to the point where Matt decided to give it a shot himself – capturing the entire experience in a now-viral YouTube video.
Chances are that The Rock did not extend his cheat menu as far as he did in the past with his most recent excursion away from his strict diet.
However, the fact that Dwayne Johnson was able to do so successfully and has the self-control to avoid turning cheat days into cheat weeks and months is still very impressive.
