Miranda Lambert had a girls night with country star Shania Twain just weeks after she and ex, Blake Shelton, announced their divorce. According to People Magazine, the two singers embraced for a picture that was posted to Instagram some time after Twain’s Rock This Country show in Nashville, which Miranda thoroughly enjoyed.
“Girls night, love seeing you!” Twain captioned the photo below.
Miranda also posted a photo of Shania from the show, proving that she is a huge fan of the “From This Moment” singer. During Shania’s Rock This Country set, she hops on top of a saddle and is hoisted up in the air as she sings. The crane that lifts her makes a circle around the arena, and gives Shania an up close and personal look with thousands of fans.
“Shania Twain. Fringe Saddle. That’s All #nashville #girlsnight #rockthiscountry #badass #musicismedicine,” Lambert captioned the photo below.
Miranda Lambert’s girls night wasn’t the first of its kind, either. Since her split from Blake Shelton, the “Gun Powder And Lead” singer has been spending lots of time with her girlfriends, just hanging out and laughing, trying to heal her broken heart.
According to E! News, Miranda Lambert has also been performing a lot, leaning on music to help her through these tough times. Recently, Miranda sang at 3rd & Lindsley, a small club in Nashville.
“You could tell she’s got things on her mind but she was starting to have fun. She was very funny when she wanted to be. There were no tears or major emotion. She was very much in control and composed,” shared a source who was at the show.
As for why Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton split, rumors have been heating up the internet on a daily basis. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, infidelity is speculated, but it is unclear who may have stepped out on whom. Miranda has been accused of having an affair with country singer Chris Young, while rumors that Blake had cheated with singer Cady Groves have resurfaced.
Shania Twain’s Rock This Country Tour is the last tour that she will do. While she says that she will still make music, she no longer wants to perform or be out on the road. Perhaps she and Miranda will find more time for girls nights in the future.
