‘Big Brother 17’ Spoilers: Veto Presents Punishments, Rewards For ‘BB17’ House

Big Brother 17 spoilers include more than just the Veto results. The BB17 house accepted some punishments and rewards during the competition as well, forcing several houseguests to go through embarrassing tasks. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Head of Household James Huling also won the Week 6 Veto competition. It keeps the power in his hands and just about guarantees that a surprising BB17 houseguest goes home at the next eviction ceremony.

A report from fan site Joker’s Updates lays out what happened to the six participants in the Veto competition. These might end up being some of the best Big Brother 17 spoilers for fans not watching the live feeds. James was one of the houseguests who emerged with a reward, taking the Veto necklace and putting it right around his neck. Clay Honeycutt won a trip for two to Ireland, and Becky Burgess won $5,000. It is the three punishments that might end up affecting the game more than what the first three won.

Shelli Poole was given one of the punishments, and she was assigned the title of “Castle Guard.” She must now go around the backyard of the house, hitting targets with her sword. Shelli must hit 2,400 total targets before her punishment is over. Jackie Ibarra got a punishment of being shackled to Vanessa Rousso, with Vanessa’s punishment being to shine the armor that Jackie has to wear. As a Have Not, Vanessa also has to sleep on the floor next to Jackie’s bed. By Monday (August 3), the BB17 house is going to be full of frustrated houseguests.

The house certainly took a turn during Week 6, with one person from the most outgoing showmance of the season about to be evicted. James has basically already stated that he won’t be using the Veto, revealing that it is either Shelli Poole or Clay Honeycutt who will leave the house next. That vote will take place on Thursday night’s episode (August 6), sending the last person home before the jury begins to form.

The power is with the “other” side of the house now, but it could easily swing back after the Week 7 Head of Household competition takes place. Once Shelli or Clay gets evicted from the BB17 house, there will be just 11 people left competing for the $500,000 prize. The worst case scenario for those 11 final people is that they will go to the jury house and continue getting paid for their participation. For now, the Big Brother 17 spoilers to look forward to will include the name of the houseguest going home next.
