‘Scream Queens’ Star Lea Michele Claims She Is Obsessed With The ‘Real Housewives’

Scream Queens star Lea Michele’s love for reality TV runs deep. According to Perez Hilton, Michel recently admitted that she has lots of love for two reality shows in particular.

The actress was attending the #ActuallySheCan event in Hollywood when she dished how much she adores The Bachelorette. However, she also stated that her newest obsession is with the reality show UnREAL.

“My new obsession? Are you watching UnREAL? I texted Shiri Appleby last night and I’m like, ‘Ummm, so you need to win like an Academy Award.’ She is so good!” Michel stated.

Since UnREAL came on the scene, Michele stated that her love for The Bachelorette was quickly overshadowed. “It’s switched me, I’m less obsessed with The Bachelorette and I’m more obsessed with UnREAL. Emma [Roberts] told me about it. She was like, ‘You have to watch it!’”

Michele added that, along with other shows like Naked and Afraid and Ray Donovan, her other love is with The Real Housewives franchise, “Obviously, my Housewives,” she stated.

Meanwhile, Michele, who is known for her role on the hit musical drama Glee, is set to appear in a role in the upcoming horror comedy, Scream Queens. Michele plays the role of Hester, or “Neckbrace,” as Emma Roberts’ character, Chanel Oberlin, calls her in the series.

Hester is a pledge in the Kappa Kappa Tau sorority, who knows all there is to know about the house. Although she only has a few lines in the Season 1 premiere, she manages to make quite the impression in every scene she is in.

“She makes me laugh all day!” Roberts said about her fellow star during ET Online’s Comic-Con suite. “Literally, there was a scene where she doesn’t have any dialogue and she was just standing right here and I would have to look over her head. I was like, ‘I’m sorry, I’m not being rude, but if I look at you I will laugh so hard.’ I couldn’t even take it, it was just so funny!”

At the same time, Jamie Lee Curtis also revealed her favorite thing Michele’s character does, which involves an arm raising gesture. “She has also done this singular motion which is this excited thing like this,” Curtis stated, adding “I swear in my house now I walk around and my husband will say, ‘We’re going out to dinner’ and I do it too now.”

Scream Queens is set to premiere on September 22 on Fox.
