Meghan King Edmonds Defends Hair, Reveals LeAnn Edmonds Funeral Details

Meghan King Edmonds dyed her hair pink last week after learning of her the tragic death of LeAnn Edmonds. Ahead of a number of interviews regarding the late first wife of her current husband, Jim, Meghan King Edmonds claims she was inspired to honor LeAnn with her bold hair change.

“We are embracing the life that we have because life is beautiful and you never know when it’s going to end,” Meghan King Edmonds told PEOPLE Magazine of her new hair.

While Meghan King Edmonds claims she dyed her hair for LeAnn, some of her fans and followers on social media feel that she’s cashing in on the woman’s passing by drawing attention to herself and continuing to speak of the devastating event. However, according to Meghan King Edmonds, LeAnn would have loved her new look.

“If LeAnn was here, her eyes would be as big as saucers. She would be like ‘I can’t believe you did it,’ but she would love it. During her chemotherapy she had all these different wigs and she got a red one and a blonde one, different lengths and she would have her hair stylist give them highlights. She had fun with it and just loved hair and always had her nails perfect so she would have been like, ‘You are crazy but I love you and I think it’s awesome that you did it.'”

Continuing on to PEOPLE Magazine, Meghan King Edmonds claimed she’s been in “constant communication” with LeAnn’s mother, who recently asked her to help plan a memorial party for her.

“We’re going to do a Sunday Funday theme because LeAnn loved drinking champagne with mimosas, so we’re going to do that at the end of August, and it will be a celebration of her life.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Meghan King Edmonds’ daughter, Haley, first shared the heartbreaking news of LeAnn’s death on Instagram. On July 22, the 17-year-old, who lives with Meghan King Edmonds in Orange County, California, posted a photo of herself and LeAnn, along with a detailed message about how much she will miss her mother. Moments later, Meghan King Edmonds spoke out on Twitter, as well as on Instagram.
