Vicki Gunvalson Continues To Deal With Upset Fans Over Money Comment

Vicki Gunvalson is a hardworking woman who is proud of her business ventures. Gunvalson is currently selling insurance, and she is doing very well for herself. It is no secret that Vicki is very proud of her work, and she has been given many awards for her hard work. But on this week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Vicki made a comment that didn’t sit well with some viewers.

Vicki Gunvalson told the cameras that she wondered what Meghan King Edmonds would do when Jimmy moved on to wife No. 4 because Meghan was spending his money. Then, rumors began that Meghan was a gold digger, which didn’t sit well with Meghan.

According to a new tweet, Vicki Gunvalson is still dealing with the backlash from this week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County. During this episode, Gunvalson pointed out that women should not be spending their husbands’ money. Instead, she encouraged women to go make their own money.

“Are you kidding me that you think a woman needs to ask her husband for permission to spend every cent? Get a grip lady,” one follower wrote to Vicki after watching this week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County, which had her reply, “That’s not what I said! I was talking about LARGE purchases. It’s being respectful of each other.”

Vicki Gunvalson simply meant that women who don’t earn money should not make major purchases without discussing it with their husbands first. Gunvalson has been the sole provider in some marriages, and could possibly have been on the other side of the big spenders. But Vicki was not undermining the role of a stay-at-home mother.

“Taking care of kids and your home is a full time job. I rarely speak out on social media but that was upsetting to see. It didn’t come off like you were talking about large purchases only. Even the other women were offended. I really am a huge fan of yours but was very offended by what I heard and saw when you were talking about stay at home moms,” the follower replied.

According to the Inquisitr, some people did speculate that Vicki Gunvalson was jealous of Meghan because she doesn’t have to work. But Vicki takes pride in her work, and she is proud to be a provider for her children and family.
