‘Southern Charm’ Thomas And Shep At Odds About Season 3

Perhaps everything isn’t quite as charming as the folks on Southern Charm would like viewers to think. The disagreement over Season 3 is boiling down to posturing by certain members of the cast.

Recently, the Inquisitr reported that the on-again, off-again relationship between Kathryn Dennis and Thomas Ravenel was off again, leading fans to speculate that without their relationship drama, the show would not be renewed for a third season.

But Slate is reporting that the current disagreement on Southern Charm seems to be between Thomas Ravenel and Shep Rose. Thomas Ravenel took to Facebook on Tuesday night to post the words “It’s Over,” along with an article by a Chinese paper that said that Southern Charm was canceled due to poor ratings.

Shep Rose, who also stars on Bravo’s Southern Charm, says that Ravenel’s comment was “wildly speculative.” He also suggested that he goes on social media after drinking.

“Thomas doesn’t know what he’s talking about,” Rose said. “He’s not a bad guy, but he has a few drinks and makes declarative statements.”

Shep Rose is vindicated by Thomas Ravenel’s statements on social media after Season 1 that he would not return.

Thomas Ravenel went even more colorful with his language, exclaiming again on Facebook that regardless of Bravo’s decision, he would not return.

“I plan on doing another Season of Southern Charm — just as soon as a donkey wins the Kentucky Derby,” wrote Thomas.

He has also accused Bravo of repeatedly lying to him about the show.

“They’ve lied to me so many times, but the last lie was just pathological. Had they just told me the truth I would’ve stayed on. I actually hope they sue me. One of my hobbies is getting some evil person or corporation to sue me, and when I counter-sue I never lose,” the 52-year-old politician said.

“Caution: never try this with the federal government. That would be like a peasant going against the old USSR during the Stalin Regime,” he added.

Thomas Ravenel’s sometime girlfriend, and mother of his daughter, is also posting cryptic statements on social media about a “queen without her king.”

It seems that the majority of the cast is game if Bravo is.
