Kelli Giddish Is Pregnant – And Married! [Video]
Kelli Giddish, who plays Amanda Rollins on SVU, announced via Twitter that she’s pregnant – and married! On just June 20th, Giddish married Lawrence Faulborn at an intimate wedding ceremony on the beach in New Smyrna Beach in Florida. There were just 12 guests in attendance, reports Us Weekly.
Paradise Beach Weddings, who assisted with Kelli’s wedding, shared photos of the ceremony to their website, and said that Giddish and Faulborn tied the knot in an intimate rustic beachfront ceremony.
“Kelli, Larry and their families were a joy to work with and with a beautiful array of fresh flowers, burlap and rustic charm, (hippy as Kelli would say) the setup and wedding was gorgeous,” a post on the wedding planning site states, accompanied by a photo gallery of Kelli’s ceremony. “The weather was amazing and privacy was great.”

NBC showrunner Warren Leight spilled the beans via Twitter that Kelli is pregnant, writing, “@FINALLEVEL and @cocosworld having a baby. @TheKelliGiddish and L Faulborn having a baby. #SVU — most fertile show on Earth. Congrats all!!” An NBC rep also confirmed the news that Kelli Giddish is pregnant to Us Weekly.
SVU star Mariska Hargitay also congratulated Kelli Giddish via Twitter, tweeting “Congrats glowing mama2b the radiant @TheKelliGiddish Excited 4 u,ur husband & the #LuckyKid #AmamaRollins #CantWait2MeetOurNewestSquadMember,” reports Access Hollywood.
While Giddish hasn’t released a statement about being pregnant, it seems the news that Ice-T’s wife is pregnant was supposed to be a surprise. Ice-T was saving the news for his talk show, according to once of Ice-T’s tweets: “The news is out. YES. We”re having a baby. We announced it on the Ice&Coco Talk Show taping Friday.. That show will air August 3rd.”
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Coco had been keeping the news that she’s pregnant a secret. “I’ve been pregnant for a while, but we’ve been holding it between us for some time,” revealed Coco.
Giddish was a blushing (and pregnant) bride at her wedding ceremony. For her dress, Kelli chose a V-neck gown with short sleeves, “accessorized with a crown, wedge espadrilles, and bouquet of bright yellow flowers,” writes Us Weekly. Her new husband went casual in a white linen shirt, blue slacks, and flip-flops.
E! News reports that despite the happy news that Kelli Giddish is pregnant, filming for SVU is still on schedule. While Danny Pino isn’t on the series as a regular anymore, Ice-T, Giddish, Peter Scanavino and Mariska Hargitay are all returning for another year on the force. Kelli Giddish has been part of the SVU team since 2011.
