It has been a couple of weeks since Sandra Bland,28, was found dead in a jail cell in Waller County, Texas, where she was staying after being arrested for allegedly kicking state trooper Brian Encinia after being stopped for a traffic violation.
The death of Sandra Bland has been ruled a suicide by hanging, but several people are outraged as they say that this is another case of police brutality, and they claim that Sandra Bland was murdered.
Now, hacktivist group Anonymous has released a video recording that says they have proof that Sandra was indeed murdered. According to the International Business Times, the state troopers and sheriff’s department also went to great lengths to cover up Sandra’s murder by staging a suicide.
There are even those who believe that the mugshots of Sandra Bland that were released were taken after her death. According to a previous report by the Inquisitr, another copy of Sandra’s mugshot was released, increasing the doubt in people’s minds that Sandra was alive when it was taken.
In the 7-minute video released by Anonymous, they tackle different questions regarding Sandra’s case, and many of them are questions that people are asking, too. You can see the video below and hear Anonymous’ message and call to action.
The video is a warning to all the “ruthless law enforcement officials” who they say have no honor. Anonymous is calling all to unite in the call for justice in Sandra Bland’s death.
Here is an excerpt of the video transcript.
“We, not as Anonymous but as citizens of the United States, are tired of the cycle of murders and cover-ups made by police departments across the nation.”
“We also demand the immediate arrest of Brian Encinia and the resignation of both Waller County’s District Attorney and the Waller County’s Sheriff. If you do not take Brian Encinia into custody, we will come after all of you. All your secrets will be leaked. You will all be vulnerable. We all know where you live. This is for Sandra bland. No mercy for murderers. Operation Rage for Sandra, engaged.”

I’m tired of seeing that mugshot all over my timeline, I’d rather see these photos. #JusticeForSandraBland pic.twitter.com/hkMlbmCuqB

Instead of lecturing black citizens on how to interact with police, let’s lecture police on how to apply the law. #JusticeForSandraBland
