Kim Kardashian is no doubt one of the most popular socialites in the world and lately, she has reduced her magazine appearances mainly due to her second pregnancy. The news of the successful conception was first revealed through a trailer of the Keeping Up With The Kardashians show in May. The following was her statement on the teaser as reported by Vanity Fair.
“I just got the blood test back, and I am pregnant.”
This was following a frustrating period of trying to get pregnant. According to People, the reality star had said the following about the struggle, via the Keeping Up With The Kardashians cameras.
“I’m looking for any kind of positive answer to kind of push me along with this journey… I’m just exhausted. I don’t know how much longer I can go through with this.”
But after the trying times were over, she stated the following about the experience.
“I didn’t know that I was going to be so open with [my fertility challenges]… But meeting people at my fertility doctor’s office who are going through the same things I’m going through, I thought, ‘Why not share my story? It’s been really emotional.”
Moving on, Shahira Barry, a Galway model who physically resembles Kim, has recently landed a gig standing in for the reality star’s new season of KUWTK shots. This is as reported by The Independent.
Apparently, she was spotted on a subway commercial by a production assistant and so didn’t have to undergo an interview. Although she couldn’t divulge any details due to a non-disclosure agreement, she offered the following about the job.
“I was booked as Kim’s stand-in – I was very flattered and it was definitely a confidence boost.”
She also said that the commercial being worked on will be epic. However, she did add that she would have loved to keep some of the awesome footage shot.
“I am so sad that I won’t get to keep or see any of the footage taken when I was standing in because the concept was so cool and the results looked amazing.”
About the Kardashian family’s general impetus, she described them to be ‘one beautiful family’. Apparently, the girls took selfies on the set that went on to receive hundreds if not millions of shares and likes on social media.
She, however, refrained from taking one with them as she wanted to keep it professional.
