Bobbi Kristina Brown Passed Out In Bathtub The Day Before Her Mother Died, Investigation Finds

Bobbi Kristina Brown had a troubling history of drinking and passing out in bathtubs, an investigation into the 22-year-old’s death has uncovered.

Police are still looking into the death of Whitney Houston’s daughter to see whether foul play was involved, but sources close to the investigation say police have found a history of alcohol abuse for Bobbi that seems to indicate her death was an accident. Bobbi was found unresponsive in a bathtub in January and never recovered.

Now a history of possible alcohol abuse and troubling behavior could be emerging. As Hollywood Life reported, Bobbi Kristina Brown nearly suffered a similar fate in February 2012, the day before her mother died under the same exact circumstances.

“Bobbi reportedly got drunk with her mom at the Beverly Hilton bar in Feb. 2012, then fell asleep in her hotel room’s bathtub with the water running, according to TMZ. One day later, Whitney was discovered dead in her room’s bathtub, and Bobbi was rushed to the hospital. At the time, the iconic singer’s rep claimed Bobbi’s hospitalization was for exhaustion, but now, TMZ reports it was actually for alcohol poisoning.”

The report claims that the evidence is good news for Nick Gordon, Bobbi’s boyfriend, who was reportedly the subject of the murder investigation.

But Gordon could still have trouble ahead, including answering for allegations that he abused Bobbi. Her friend Alex Reid told E! News that Nick was often abusive, hitting and choking Bobbi Kristina on several occasions.

While the investigation continues, plans for Bobbi Kristina Brown’s funeral have been set into motion. Reports from ABC News and US Weekly claim that she will be laid to rest Saturday at St. James United Methodist Church in Alpharetta, Ga. She will then be buried next to her mother on Monday, reports indicate.

Family members seem to be taking the death very hard, especially her father, Bobby Brown. Sources close to the family said he had a hard time letting go, and even came into conflict with other family members who wanted to take her off life support sooner.

After Bobbi’s death her father released a statement, saying he was devastated.

“Krissy was and is an angel. I am completely numb at this time,” her father said. “My family must find a way to live with her in spirit and honor her memory. Our loss is unimaginable. We thank everyone for the prayers for Krissy and our family as we mourn my baby girl.”

There are still many questions to be answered in the death of Bobbi Kristina Brown, as an autopsy has shed little more light on her official cause of death.
