Bobbi Kristina Brown: Nick Gordon Not Guilty, Says Family

As family members and supporters lament the loss of young Bobbi Kristina Brown, questions are arising about the ongoing criminal investigation against her boyfriend, Nick Gordon. Yet, Gordon’s family says they aren’t worried about the legal aspect of the situation, as he is “not guilty.”

People reports that an undisclosed relative of Gordon’s states that legal matters have been placed on the back burner as Gordon mourns over the tragic loss of Bobbi Kristina.

“He lost a soul mate. They were young people who had a troubled background but were in love.”

The relative also said that Gordon didn’t cause Bobbi Kristina’s death, and the only thing he is guilty of is being a young man in love.

“Nick says he didn’t do anything to hurt Krissi. He did not cause her death.”

Regardless, Bobbi Kristina’s relatives disagree. The civil lawsuit against Gordon, filed earlier this year by Bobbi Kristina’s conservator, Bedelia Hargrove, still stands.

The lawsuit accuses Gordon of stealing more than $11,000 from Bobbi Kristina while she lay comatose in the hospital. It also accuses him of physically abusing Bobbi Kristina, including punching some of her teeth out and pulling her up the stairs by her hair.

Last year, Pat Houston, Bobbi Kristina’s aunt, took out a restraining order on Gordon after feeling threatened by him. Gordon repeatedly posted cryptic messages on his social media accounts, including pictures of guns.

Although Gordon has not commented on the lawsuit, it seems as if he may be more concerned than he is letting on. He recently hired a high-power team of attorneys, including Jose Baez, best-known for representing Casey Anthony in the 2011 murder case of her daughter, Caylee Anthony.

Meanwhile, Gordon’s brother, Junior Walker, spoke to Entertainment Tonight (ET) yesterday and indicated that his brother is not handling the news of Bobbi Kristina’s death well. Yet, Walker denied the rumor of his brother being on suicide watch, calling it “bull****,” although a source close to Gordon says it’s true.

Gordon’s mother, Michelle Gordon, opened up recently about son as well, requesting that the public give him peace during this heartbreaking time.

“The passing of Bobbi Kristina is devastating to Nick and our family. Nick loved and cared for Krissi deeply, and he has suffered greatly each and every day they’ve been apart. Nick and our family are in mourning, and we ask that you respect our privacy. Our thoughts and prayers are with both the Houstons and the Browns during this difficult time.”

Although speculations of Gordon attending Bobbi Kristina Brown’s funeral and “crashing it” to give her one last kiss are currently running rampant, Gordon has not confirmed this to be true.
