Watch England Vs. Australia Ashes Cricket Live Online: 3rd Test, Streaming from Edgbaston

After taking a 405-run drubbing in the Second Ashes cricket Test match, almost two weeks ago, England is ready to get some payback from Australia in the Third Test Wednesday — and the entire five-day match will be free to watch, live online. England won the first test, in Cardiff, Wales, by a comfortable 169. So the beating they suffered at Lord’s in London rocked what had been a newly confident England side to its core.

But heading into Wednesday’s crucial Test match at Edgbaston Cricket Ground in England’s second-largest city of Birmingham, England made just one change to their XI, dropping Number Three batsman Gary Ballance and bringing back county cricket club Yorkshire’s Jonny Bairstow, a veteran of six previous England vs. Australia Test matches, though he has yet to make an appearance in the 2015 Ashes series.

To find out how to watch the Third England vs. Australia 2015 Ashes Test match live online — for free, and legally — see the streaming links at the bottom of this article. The Edgbaston match is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. local time in England on Wednesday, July 29. That’s 6 a.m. United States Eastern Time, 3 a.m. Pacific Time.

Bairstow is England county cricket’s most prolific batsman, averaging better than a century in 11 innings for Yorkshire, including a double century, four hundreds and three fifties. According to former England and Yorkshire batting great Michael Vaughan, all eyes will be on Bairstow not only in hopes that he can make the difference for this Ashes Test, but as a barometer of the current state of England’s county cricket program,.

“I am sure he will play the last three Test matches and how he performs is a big moment for our county system,” wrote Vaughan in the Telegraph newspaper on Tuesday. “Jonny has always been a confidence player. He is busy, energetic, and always looking to score but you do not face 90 mph left-armers in county cricket.”

Despite the one-sided Second Test result, Australia have now made more changes than England in the 2015 Ashes series, dropping Shane Watson after the First Test, and continuing to give the nod to wicket-keeper Peter Nevill over Brad Haddin going into Wednesday’s match.
