Chris Soules, Whitney Bischoff, And Becca Tilley Congratulate Kaitlyn Bristowe And Shawn Booth
The two women who went through the most with Kaitlyn Bristowe on The Bachelor, Whitney Bischoff and Becca Tilley, have reacted to the public revelation of her engagement to Shawn Booth on The Bachelorette. The man who sent her home on the first show, Chris Soules, has also reacted to the big news.
Whitney tweeted congratulations to Kaitlyn and Shawn and added that she’s so happy for them.

Becca seems pretty sure that Kaitlyn and Shawn will last. Becca declared that she wants to be a bridesmaid at Kaitlyn and Shawn’s wedding and be named a godmother to their first child.

Despite having competed for the same man, Whitney Bischoff, Becca Tilley, and Kaitlyn Bristowe are all good friends. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, the three hung out together in Chicago for a couple of days in mid-June. The three celebrated Whitney and Kaitlyn’s 30th birthdays.
As for former Bachelor Chris Soules, he tweeted his congratulations and wished Kaitlyn and Shawn the best.

Chris and Whitney are likely hoping that Kaitlyn and Shawn fare better as a couple than they did. Chris chose Whitney over Kaitlyn and Becca on The Bachelor. Days after Chris and Whitney’s engagement was aired on the season finale, Chris joined Season 20 of Dancing with the Stars. While Whitney was in the DWTS audience to support Chris in the beginning weeks, she later stopped going, prompting speculation that the relationship was on the rocks. Chris maintained that their relationship was strong, and that after the dance competition, they would live a normal life away from the spotlight. Yet, days after the DWTS season finale in May, the two announced their split to the media.
On Monday morning, Chris Soules, along with many other Bachelor and Bachelorette alums, went on Good Morning America to help promote the franchise. Chris said that he “honestly did fall in love with [Whitney].” When asked about what went wrong with Whitney Bischoff, Chris said that it’s not fair to Whitney for him to tell his side of the story without her there.
“If she was here with me, I would be happy to talk about that, but I think that’s something that’s between us and we dated on a television show and we knew we were stepping into the public eye. As far as talking about those sort of things, she’s going to be by my side if we are going to go through that and discuss those things.”
