‘Shark Tank’ Investor Robert Herjavec Crashed Ferrari Into Wall At 130MPH

Shark Tank investor Robert Herjavec managed to completely destroy his $350 Ferrari this weekend when he crashed the super car into a wall at 130 MPH.

The crash occurred while Herjavec was racing the sports car at the Ferrari Challenge at the Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, California. Robert was racing the 2012 Ferrari against 458 other rich racers in various other rich guy cars.

Talking to TMZ Herjavec notes:

“I crashed in qualifying — bad and hard hit.”

He goes on to add:

“I was having an amazing lap very fast, just off the course record, and then just thought I could go a little faster (what race car driver doesn’t?).”

Apparently that first lap gave Robert all the confidence he needed to push a bit harder, then again when you’re worth more than $100 milli0n you can simply run out and buy a new toy to play with or perhaps purchase a few more inventions on Shark Tank and use profits from those inventions to buy another $350,000 Ferrari.

So what did Robert Herjavec do after the crash? He borrowed another Ferrari and continued to race just two hours after the first crash. Robert moved from 29th to 5th and he is still in the points lead for the season.

As a fan of Shark Tank all I’m going to be able to think of when he turns down people moving forward is “he must need to buy another Ferrari instead.”

Are you surprised that Robert Herjavec got back behind the wheel of a Ferrari just 2 hours after his pretty gnarly crash?
