Pluto TV Channels Like ‘MST3K’ May Be The Free Service You Didn’t Know You Wanted
Pluto TV channels could be your new favorite viewing option. It’s free, and right now you can get constantly streaming back-to-back episodes of the sci-fi film comedy series Mystery Science Theater 3000.
For those who have been stuck on the Satellite of Love for the last couple of decades, MST3K is a TV show whose intro song explains most of the concept. Joel Hodgson, and in later episodes Mike Nelson, hosts the show as a janitor who gets launched into space and forced to watch the cheesiest science fiction movies the show’s villain can find. The villain then monitors the host’s reaction in the efforts to see how much B-movie viewing it takes to drive a person insane, and then plans to use the data to take over the world.
Unfortunately for the villain, the host and his robots, which include Gypsy, Tom Servo, and Crow, riff the movie from beginning to end and just end up entertaining themselves and the audience.
Popular Mystery Science Theater 3000 episodes have featured such films as Mitchell, the Gamera series, and The Amazing Colossal Man, which have returned on one of Pluto TV’s hundreds of channels.
