Khloe Kardashian Opens Up About Ex Lamar Odom And Her Relationship Status

Khloe Kardashian admits that she misses her ex-husband Lamar Odom “every day,” although it’s been over a year and a half since their split.

Khloe Kardashian opened up to Complex magazine about her relationship with the former NBA player. The 31-year-old reality star revealed that she still speaks to him.

“I talk to Lamar as often as I can, which is inconsistent, but not on my terms. When you genuinely feel like that was the right relationship, you’re supposed to give it all you can. That’s what marriage is all about.”

Kardashian and Odom ended their marriage in December, 2013, after being married for four years. Rumors surfaced that Odom, 35, was struggling with both infidelity and substance abuse issues. However, Kardashian simply filed the divorce papers, citing “irreconcilable differences.” Even though their marriage didn’t work out, she still loves him and misses him.

“Lamar is genuinely one of the best people I’ve ever met, and everyone says that when they meet him. I think Lamar’s gonna always be that person [for me] but that’s what made it so special. Even if I had it for five years or whatever, it was the best ever and I’m grateful I did. Some people don’t get that ever and I had that magic for a long time. Oh my God, I miss him every day.”

Khloe elaborated on what she misses about having Lamar in her life.

“I miss what we had — things we got to do together are just memories. I like looking back and holding on to that stuff. I definitely miss it, and there’s times I’ll get so sentimental and so sad, but this had to happen for some reason. I’ll figure it out over time, someone will give me that answer eventually. I think it would be very f***ing weird if I didn’t miss it.”

Since filing for divorce, Khloe has moved on with rapper French Montana. He has even appeared in episodes of Kourtney & Khloe Take the Hamptons and Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Khloe also revealed to the magazine that she’s no longer dating the rapper at the moment.

“We haven’t dated in a few months. I’m friends with him. I talked to him recently because his best friend [Chinx] was just murdered. He’s a great guy, super funny, a sweetheart.”

The youngest Kardashian sister also admitted that although the “Cocaine Mafia” rapper wasn’t a fling, he was someone she could have fun with.

“I don’t know if I believe in rebounds, unless you just sleep with someone for a night or two. They’re just people you can laugh and have a good time with. My life is so serious, or always moving so fast, it’s fun to have that outlet to enjoy and let your hair down and not worry about things.”

Not only has Khloe Kardashian been linked to French Montana, but she was also rumored to be dating NBA star James Harden and actor Rick Fox. However, it appears she was only dating around, nothing serious. When asked about whether or not she’s open to a serious relationship in the near future, she appeared positive.

“For sure. I don’t think I was ready at all to have a serious relationship at the time. I needed time on my own to digest everything that’s happened. I went from Lamar to just distracting myself. Not to discredit French at all.”

Kardashian has been making headlines for her steamy photo shoot with Complex magazine. The reality star took to Instagram to share the un-retouched photos to get back at the trolls and haters. Kardashian even gained controversy for supporting Kylie Jenner’s relationship with 25-year-old rapper Tyga.
