‘Big Brother 17’ Spoilers: Vanessa Rousso In Hot Water With ‘BB17’ House

Big Brother 17 spoilers reveal that Vanessa Rousso could be in a lot of trouble within the BB17 house. The Week 5 Veto ceremony took place on Monday (July 27), and as revealed by fan site Big Brother Network, Clay Honeycutt took himself off the block. Anyone watching the live feeds up to this point was unsurprised by what took place next, but it certainly shocked most of the house. Vanessa had been claiming that Austin Matelson was the target, but she put up Jason Roy as her replacement nominee.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, paranoia got the best of the power alliance of Vanessa, Clay, Shelli Poole, Liz Nolan, and Julia Nolan. The fear was that the other side of the BB17 house was starting to figure things out, and that sending Austin home would hurt their numbers. So Vanessa went back on her word to Jason and Becky Burgess that they would only be pawns this week. Heading into the Thursday night eviction (July 28) one of them will be walking out the door.

A new report from Big Brother Network indicates that the house has not taken this change of plans in stride. Most notable from the latest Big Brother 17 spoilers, is that Meg Maley may have finally figured out what is going on. She confronted Clay about him being in an alliance with Vanessa, Austin, Shelli, and the twins. He denied it and spun a web of lies that she simply wasn’t buying. Becky also appears to have figured things out, giving the other side of the BB17 house a lot of ammunition for Week 6.

If the power alliance fails to win the Week 6 Head of Household competition on Thursday, it is very likely that control of the game could shift a bit. The power alliances have nearly been flushed out, but it remains to be seen whether John McGuire, James Huling, Becky Burgess, Meg Maley, Steve Moses and Jackie Ibarra will take the necessary steps to survive the game. If they all worked together in Week 6, they could turn the tide and Big Brother 17 would certainly get more interesting for the fans.

Jackie has also figured out that Vanessa Rousso is spinning a lot of lies, even to the point that she called her on it Monday. It didn’t get Vanessa to crack, as those years of playing poker were used to her advantage once again. There won’t be any admissions coming from Vanessa or Clay Honeycutt until they are forced into making them. That won’t happen unless two people from the other side of the BB17 house win that Week 6 HOH competition. For now, the current Big Brother 17 spoilers end with the game on a precipice of change.
