Dionne Warwick Remembers Family Member Bobbi Kristina Brown As A ‘Good Girl’
Dionne Warwick fondly remembered Bobbi Kristina Brown, saying the late daughter of Whitney Houston was a “good girl” who will be dearly missed.
Bobbi Kristina died on Sunday after spending several months in a medically induced coma. She was found unresponsive in her bathtub in January and never recovered, suffering a number of setbacks and eventually moving to hospice care in June.
Just hours after her death, Whitney Houston’s cousin Dionne Warwick shared her memories of Bobbi Kristina during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live.
When host Andy Cohen asked Warwick to share her thoughts about the family, Warwick had difficulty putting it into words.
On Monday, he released a statement via People magazine saying that the pain over losing his daughter has been difficult.
“Krissy was and is an angel. I am completely numb at this time,” Bobby Brown said in a statement released through his lawyer. “My family must find a way to live with her in spirit and honor her memory. Our loss is unimaginable.”
“We thank everyone for the prayers for Krissy and our family as we mourn my baby girl.”
Dionne Warwick has been particularly close to the tragic deaths of Bobbi Kristina Brown and her mother, Whitney Houston. Warwick noted in 2012 that she spoke to Whitney the day she died, and Whitney pleaded with her to “be there for me” at a party in Beverly Hills that evening.
