Dionne Warwick Remembers Family Member Bobbi Kristina Brown As A ‘Good Girl’

Dionne Warwick fondly remembered Bobbi Kristina Brown, saying the late daughter of Whitney Houston was a “good girl” who will be dearly missed.

Bobbi Kristina died on Sunday after spending several months in a medically induced coma. She was found unresponsive in her bathtub in January and never recovered, suffering a number of setbacks and eventually moving to hospice care in June.

Just hours after her death, Whitney Houston’s cousin Dionne Warwick shared her memories of Bobbi Kristina during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live.

When host Andy Cohen asked Warwick to share her thoughts about the family, Warwick had difficulty putting it into words.

“Oh my, do we have enough time? She was a sweetheart and she will be missed that’s for sure,” Warwick said via E! News. “And she was a good girl… She was a good little girl, she really was.”
Warwick has endured quite a bit of tragedy along with the rest of the family. Whitney Houston died of complications of a drug overdose in 2012, and Warwick said it was a trying time for the family.”It’s not easy that’s for sure. I think it’s because of our faith and strength in our faith,” she explained. “Knowing that Bobbi is now with a much, much bigger and powerful person or thing that we’ll ever know. She’s in much better hands now.”Bobbi Kristina’s father, Bobby Brown, has been taking it particularly hard. Reports indicated that Bobby had a difficult time letting go in the final weeks when it became clear that Bobbi Kristina would have no chance of recovery. There were even rumors that he kept the family from taking her off life support sooner than she was.

On Monday, he released a statement via People magazine saying that the pain over losing his daughter has been difficult.

“Krissy was and is an angel. I am completely numb at this time,” Bobby Brown said in a statement released through his lawyer. “My family must find a way to live with her in spirit and honor her memory. Our loss is unimaginable.”

“We thank everyone for the prayers for Krissy and our family as we mourn my baby girl.”

Dionne Warwick has been particularly close to the tragic deaths of Bobbi Kristina Brown and her mother, Whitney Houston. Warwick noted in 2012 that she spoke to Whitney the day she died, and Whitney pleaded with her to “be there for me” at a party in Beverly Hills that evening.
