How Does Kandi Burruss’ Mother Truly Feel About The Pregnancy?

Kandi Burruss announced last week that she was pregnant with her second child. Burruss and her husband Todd Tucker had been trying to get pregnant for quite some time, but they truly struggled with conception. After undergoing IVF treatments, Kandi got pregnant. These days, the couple don’t know that they are having yet, but they are due in January.

While Kandi Burruss is thrilled about the pregnancy, many fans are wondering how her mother feels about the baby. Mama Joyce hasn’t been supportive of her daughter’s relationship with Todd. From the very beginning, she thought that Todd was an opportunist and using Kandi’s name and business to get ahead.

According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report, Kandi Burruss still got married to Todd despite her feelings and now she is pregnant with her second child. So, how does Mama Joyce feel now that her daughter has jumped in with both feet?

Kandi Burruss revealed that her mother was thankfully very supportive when she broke the news to her. And Todd also added that Joyce had been very supportive of the baby news, which he seemed very thankful for.

“Thank the lord,” Kandi added with a laugh, hinting that her mother wasn’t the biggest problem.

It sounds like the drama on the show is her biggest concern now, as the season is already promising to be dramatic. Of course, the pregnancy can’t come as a big surprise. Kandi has often talked about wanting a second child for her daughter Riley, and surely Burruss has talked to her mother about it. But Mama Joyce seems to be thrilled to become a grandmother once again.

The couple have spent lots of time trying to settle the peace. When they were filming the previous season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Todd’s mother was attacked by Mama Joyce. Tucker’s mother passed away, and Joyce never settled the drama with Todd’s family members. Accusations were made that were super hurtful and Burruss was caught in the middle.

According to the Inquisitr, Kandi Burruss is planning on returning to the show even though NeNe Leakes isn’t coming back. The two feuded a bit last season and NeNe hinted that Kandi was a sad person and was looking for something to fill the void in her life. Maybe she was referring to a baby, because they appear to be very happy with the baby news.
