‘General Hospital’ Actress Teresa Castillo Announces Second Pregnancy, Will Sabrina Santiago Also Be Pregnant On The Show?

Another baby is joining the General Hospital family. Actress Teresa Castillo has just announced that she is pregnant with her second child. She took to her Twitter account on Monday to let fans in on the exciting news. She also shared that she is having a boy this time around.

Castillo already has a daughter, Victoria Milani, who was born May 29, 2014. The 1-year-old will now have a baby brother to help take care of. The General Hospital star also sent a sweet family photo on her Instagram showing off her protruding baby bump. She has not said exactly how far along she is, but it looks like she could be possibly around five months along in her second pregnancy. Teresa is married to Shane Aaron and their little girl looks like a combination of both mom and dad. She had this to say when she made the announcement.

“Someone’s getting a little brother.”

The Latino actress plays the role of Sabrina Santiago on the ABC daytime drama. Her character was also pregnant on the show when she was carrying her first child. However, Sabrina’s son died shortly after birth. This brings up the question as to whether this pregnancy will also be written into the current storyline on General Hospital.

On the soap, Sabrina is now together with Michael Quartermaine and they have just started getting serious about their relationship. This would be the time to write in a baby surprise for this couple, especially since Michael just gave up custody of his baby sister, Avery, to his dad.

Sabrina lost her job as a nurse at the hospital, and then was a nanny to Avery. Now that they no longer have her, Sabrina is now heading up a new clinic that Michael is building.

Now that this longtime-running soap has new writers coming in, it will be interesting to see how far they will take the relationship with Michael and Sabrina. The Inquisitr previously had reported that head writer, Ron Carlivati, has been fired from the job he has had since he came on board in 2012. The team of Shelly Altman and Jean Passanante is taking his place in August.

There is a lot happening on General Hospital these days with Anthony Geary leaving the soap and the big Jason Morgan reveal that will hopefully be coming up very soon. According to a recent report by Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Robin Scorpio may just come back to let everyone know who Jake Doe really is.

Now that Teresa Castillo is expecting her second child, she will need to take another maternity leave when she has the baby. She was only gone for a few weeks the last time, so she may do the same thing again. Fans are really loving the new coupling between Sabrina and Michael, and if she does end up pregnant on the show, hopefully this one will not suffer the same fate as her character’s first baby.
