Kandi Burruss Shows Off Baby Bump As Due Date Is Revealed! Plus, Is She Having A Boy Or Girl?

Kandi Burruss and her husband, Todd Tucker, are expecting their first child together. After years of struggling with fertility issues, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star recently became pregnant, and the couple couldn’t be happier.

While many celebrities choose to be secretive about their pregnancies, Kandi Burruss has taken a different route, and, according to a report by MStarz on July 26, she’s shared a number of photos and video of herself and her baby bump in the days since her exciting announcement.

In one video, Kandi Burruss was seen dancing around to “Baby Got Back” with her friend Yandy Smith of VH1’s Love & Hip Hop: New York.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Kandi Burruss revealed her pregnancy to fans last week.

“We were just so happy,” Kandi Burruss revealed to PEOPLE Magazine on July 24.

Around the time she and Tucker discovered they were expecting, Kandi Burruss began filming the eighth season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and luckily for fans, they’ll see tons of her pregnancy milestones on the show.

“We just started taping. Obviously you will get to see a lot of our journey through this pregnancy, but other than that it will be drama as usual.”

While Kandi Burruss has confirmed her return to the Bravo reality show, NeNe Leakes recently announced her exit, and the rest of the cast has yet to be officially confirmed. As for her pregnancy thus far, Kandi Burruss admitted her journey has been slightly uneventful with “no craving or morning sickness.”

Also in her interview with PEOPLE Magazine, Kandi Burruss revealed her due date was in January and said she and Tucker hadn’t yet found out their child’s gender. They do, however, have a preference.

“We would love to have a boy,” Burruss said, and when it comes to names, “We’re taking suggestions!”

In addition to Leakes’ exit from The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Claudia Jordan, who was relatively new to the series, has allegedly been fired. Although the reality star appeared to be a key part of season seven, producers have reportedly removed her from the series after feeling she wasn’t necessary to the show’s success.

Kandi Burruss and her husband tied the knot in April of last year, and their wedding aired as a special on Bravo months later.

No word yet on when Kandi Burruss and the cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta will return to Bravo for season eight.
