Justin Timberlake to Design Homes

Just when it seems like entrepreneur Justin Timberlake has his hands dipped in every area possible, the actor/musician/fashion designer adds another hat and this time it’s designing homes.

Timberlake has decided to collaborate with long time stylist Estee Stanley on a joint collection titled HomeMint which will encompass home goods and designs by the duo. Timberlake and Stanley started collaborating together on the pop star’s homes a few years back. The collection, which won’t be available until May 9th, will be exclusively for HomeMint.com and members per a monthly $10 dollar subscription. The subscription will give members exclusive perks including all access advantages, and early access to new products by Timberlake and Stanley.

Both Justin Timberlake and Estee Stanley sat down with ELLE DECOR to discuss the inspiration behind the collection, and the driving force behind kicking this venture into gear. Timberlake attributed his longtime partnership with Stanley, as well as being approached by BeachMint, which is the company behind HomeMint. “it felt like a really natural thing for us to do together. Estee and I are great friends, so it’s a lot of fun,” said Timberlake.

As far as to what customers can look forward to in terms of style and design. According to Timberlake, the pair are honing in on a very modern flair, which has been popular in the recent years.

I like very clean, almost modern architecture, and the obstacle with something like that is making it extremely warm, because it doesn’t naturally lend itself to that. With everything we do together, we try to get the juxtaposition right. To make pieces and rooms that are multifaceted, that blend different genres of architecture and design.

This is just a series of endeavors that Justin Timberlake has taken on. In addition to being a fashion designer, singer, and actor, he has hosted award shows, came out with his own line of tequila, and is part owner to New York southern eatery, Southern Hospitality.
