A Pennsylvania man is behind bars following the emergence of a disturbing live video he distributed online. According to ABC-27, William Byers Augusta has been arrested for the rape of a 6-year-old boy. It has been reported that not only did he rape the child, but took things a step further by sharing the horrific act with the world. In addition to the child rape charges, the 18-year-old is also facing various charges for child pornography.
The Township Police Department’s report states that Augusta also distributed a live streaming version of the video while the heinous attack took place. Investigators in Toronto, Canada, were the first to discover the video and contacted the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, who alerted the North Middleton Township Police Department. Authorities were able to trace the origin of the video, which happened to be the IP address for Augusta’s home computer.

There, they found incriminating items such as “furniture and bedding” that were identical to the surroundings captured in the horrific video. It has also been reported that a laptop was confiscated and authorities uncovered various videos of child sexual abuse acts. The computer’s webcam was also position toward the same angle as shown in the video he’d allegedly distributed. According to Penn Live, Augusta is now facing a staggering list of charges for the volatile crime he committed.
