Chris Brown, Rita Ora Tease Musical Collaboration After Singer Says Breezy Has A ‘Good Heart’

Chris Brown and Rita Ora are getting together, but it’s not what you think. The R&B singers are getting together for a musical collaboration. Chris shared the exciting news with his Team Breezy fans on Friday night.

Chris Brown and Rita Ora will be collaborating for their new song “Body on Me.” It’s rumored to be Ora’s next single from her upcoming album.

Brown took to his official Instagram page to share a photo of himself with Ora with the following caption, “COMING SOON. (BODY ON ME)”

As you can see, the photo doesn’t reveal much about their new song. It just shows Chris rocking blonde curls as he wears a white T-shirt and black jeans. Meanwhile, Rita shows off her signature platinum blonde locks as she wears a white tank top and light wash jeans.

Ora previously defended her decision to work with Brown, despite his controversial past. In her interview with the Sun (via the Mirror), Ora gushed about the “Ayo” singer, calling him “strong, powerful, and someone that is important to me personally and professionally.” Ora also added that she loves Brown “on different levels.”

“It’s really nice that we finally got together because, regardless of what’s happened, the song is just amazing.”

Chris Brown was convicted of assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Rihanna, after a pre-Grammy party in 2009. Rita doesn’t seem to mind, though. She would rather separate the artist from the person.

“This discrimination and all what people think? If you have a great song then no one cares.”

It’ll be any wonder what both Team Breezy and Rihanna fans will think. There has been speculation on whether or not Rita Ora is set to become the next Rihanna. The singers have been compared due to their similar blonde hairstyles and their street style looks. Now to fans, it will look like that Ora is trying to take RiRi’s place as the Barbadian pop star continues to work on her R8 album, which has been pushed back for a new sound.

Rihanna has been rumored to be angry at Rita for jacking her signature “Bad Gal” style. She also reportedly banned the “Poison” singer from her 2015 Met Gala after-party earlier this year.

Last year, Rita Ora said that she remains unfazed about the similarities between her and her fellow Roc Nation-employee.

“First of all, I love her. I think she is dope. And all these comparisons, it’s kind of pretty flattering…Good thing, is though, I’m doing my own thing, she’s doing her own thing. We don’t need to watch what each other is doing. We just do our own thing.”

Rihanna can’t seem to escape either Rita Ora or Chris Brown in the news. Brown was seen performing Rihanna’s “BBHMM” during his tour in the Philippines, where he was detained. Brown’s latest performance is causing romance rumors to swirl once again.
