‘Gypsy Sisters’: Scott Vuncannon Allegedly Kills Mellie Stanley’s Dog

The TLC reality show chronicling the life of sisters with gypsy ethnicity has taken a tragic turn. A domestic argument between Mellie Stanley and Scott Vuncannon over who was going to pay the rent in their Inwood, West Virginia, home on July 10 ended with Mellie’s little brown and white puppy being allegedly killed by Vuncannon. In a statement to police, Mellie stated that Scott picked up the small dog and threw her down hard on the floor. She died at once. When police arrived on scene, they found a very emotional Mellie, crying, “He killed my dog!”

Police then entered the residence to find the lifeless body of the dog, which had small amounts of blood around its mouth and a smear of blood on the floor. Scott Vuncannon was nowhere to be found, but later texted Mellie, saying, “I don’t deserve to live.” While he was on the run, Martinsburg animal control was called and a warrant was issued for his arrest. While that particular segment wasn’t being taped, Mellie took to social media as she often does, posting on Facebook about Jesus and domestic arguments.

“Yes Skott got angry and was going off for no damn reason because I asked him to help me pay bills and he needed to step up and be responsible and he threw my dog cause it went to bark at him and tried to bite his leg no one taking up for Skott he’s in trouble for what he done and has been charged with animal cruelty that was my innocent puppy that could have been one of my babies he’s never allowed back around me again I got a fpo and its staying that way”

While originally she seemed to be happy that Scott was wanted for arrest, she soon changed her tune and chastised those on Facebook who were slamming him for allegedly killing her dog. She stated that the police and animal control were involved and that was the only people who had any business with it. Of course, that caused a major backlash from her friends and 37,000 followers — some calling her trash, saying that animal cruelty was everyone’s business, that she is an unfit mother to allow that kind of man around her children, and that she deserves him.

Randall Scott Vuncannon is actually married to Mellie Stanley, records show. The rumors were circulating for a while and it was confirmed that they married, possibly on May 27. Although Scott Vuncannon was apprehended and released on bond, many rumors state the two are back together, while others say they are getting divorced. Others are wondering if TLC will also cancel this show in light of the horrible animal abuse.
