John Stamos is out of rehab, and feeling healthier than ever. He has just returned home from his stay and is breaking his silence following his arrest on June 10.
As was reported in the Inquisitr, Stamos was arrested riding alone, when he was stopped by police in Beverly Hills. He identified himself as John Stamos, and based on behavior, police were concerned that he was having a medical event, and had him sent to the hospital where it was determined that he was under the influence and arrested.Just after his arrest, Stamos checked into a residential treatment facility to seek help for substance abuse. He seemed upbeat when he posted a statement.
"Thanks to everyone for their love & support," the star of Fox's upcoming sitcom Grandfathered tweeted the next day. "I'm home & well. Very appreciative of the BHPD & Cedars for their care."
Back in 2007, Stamos made headlines after what seemed like a boozy appearance on Australian morning television. He attributed that to a combination of Ambien and jet lag.
"By the time I got to Australia, my body was so out of whack," he told TV Guide about his ill-fated interview, adding that he "took a sleeping pill at five in the morning, Ambien. I did not know what continent I was on."
"I was not drinking," Stamos said. "I did not drink either morning. I do not have an alcohol problem...This is not a pattern."After posting his return, Full House cast members tweeted a response, welcoming him back.
Loughlin, Stamos' former on-screen wife, gave him a shout-out soon after. "Welcome home @JohnStamos!!" she tweeted. "Can't wait to see you Monday! #FullerHouse."
Candace Cameron Bure, also of Full House and now Fuller House also put out a statement of love for Stamos.
"I love him. We love him," Bure, 39, told Entertainment Tonight. "And if this is what he needs to spend time to get things together, we're all supportive and glad he's there and know that things will be good when he comes back. I support him, and we'll support him."A source close to the actor credits his decision to enter rehab, and said that Stamos is focusing on his health, and "knows he needs to take care of himself."
