Donald Trump: Crazy Or Genius?

With the erratic behavior and the attacks on others in the GOP, and now journalists, in his quest to be president, Donald Trump must either be crazy or a genius. He was been called on by the Republican leadership to tone down his explosive rhetoric, but will he?

As reported yesterday by the Inquisitr, Trump has now taken on Sen. John McCain, Mexico, Se. Lindsey Graham, and now Anderson Cooper of CNN. His language is always on the attack and very personal, saying that McCain, a prisoner of war in Vietnam, was not a hero because he was captured. Trump also gave out Lindsey Graham’s personal cell phone number during a speech to the press.

Anderson Cooper asked Trump about a Washington Post poll that was less than favorable to Trump. Cooper also asked if Trump thought his recent behavior was “presidential.” According to the Hill, rather than address the questions, Trump went on to tell Cooper that “the people don’t trust you and the people don’t trust the media,” estimating that 60 to 70 percent of the political media “is really, really dishonest.”

After the interview, Trump went on Twitter to voice his further dissatisfaction.

“What a waste of time being interviewed by Anderson Cooper when he puts on really stupid talking heads like Tim O’Brien-dumb guy with no clue!”

But CNN thinks that Trump has a plan, and the Republican party should think twice before shooing Trump away. Third-party candidate Ralph Nader, who has played spoiler to the Democratic party a number of times, believes that the GOP dismisses Trump at its own peril.

“The Republican Party establishment is playing with nitroglycerine when it goes after Donald Trump and tries to minimize him and exclude him,” Nader said in an interview Thursday. “Because a jilted Donald Trump as a third-party candidate can blow the presidential race wide open and turn it into a three way race.”

Clay Mulford, Ross Perot’s son-in-law, believes that a third party candidate is best for the process.

“There is just a sense of ineffectiveness of the two-party system. So I think he would do better than expected if he were in the debates and if he were considered viable,” Mulford said. “And having money helps.”

But it will be hard for Trump to come back into the GOP fold after criticizing McCain publicly, after he served honorably.

Do you think Donald Trump is crazy or crazy like a fox?
