‘The View’ Enlists Two New Co-Hosts: Candace Cameron Bure And Paula Faris Slated To Step In This Fall

The View has been going through many changes the past couple of years and more changes are on the horizon. It looks like the daytime talk show will be adding two new faces to their table of chatty women. According to Variety, actress Candace Cameron Bure and Good Morning America weekend anchor, Paula Faris, will be sitting in the remaining hot seats.

This fall will start season 19 of the popular, and sometimes controversial, show. Exclusive sources have said that these two women, who are more on the conservative side, will sit beside Whoopi Goldberg, Raven Symone, and Michelle Collins.

The View thrives on being controversial with differing opinions on many issues. The women go back and forth on the hot topics of the day and that is what keeps it all interesting. Both Cameron Bure and Faris have previosly filled in as guest co-hosts on different occasions.

Candace Cameron Bure has already sparked a good debate with Raven Symone while she was a fill-in recently. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, the two women were going back and forth on the issue of gay marriage and the rights of Christians to refuse to do business with someone that goes against their beliefs. The Oregon bakery was a hot topic that day as the Full House actress, who is also a known conservative Christian, disagreed with the former Disney star. This is the kind of thing that the producers are looking for to help boost ratings.

However, it may be somewhat of a struggle as The View will have to work around her Fuller House filming schedule. They are still trying to work out the details. In order to help fill in during the actresses’ off times, the show is looking to hire a few part-time co-hosts who will help out.

As for Paula Faris, she will be doing The View Monday through Thursday, so she can still stick with her weekend job on GMA. This is not a done deal just yet. As soon as the details are worked out and these two professionals sign on the dotted line, everything else will fall into place.

It will be interesting to hear Raven Symone’s reaction to having Candace Cameron Bure sitting at the table expressing her conservative views. However, this is what this show is all about. These two former child actresses have a totally different view of how things work in the world, but that is what the producers and viewers want. It certainly may bring in a new audience, and possibly a few older viewers, as well.

Do you think these two ladies will be a good fit for The View to boost their ratings?
