Chris Brown Opens Up About His Recent Heart Break
Chris Brown got real on Instagram recently. Currently the R&B singer is stuck in the Philippines, and it looks like that now that he has some downtime, he wanted to get something off of his chest.
Following his public spat with his ex, Karrueche Tran, and his friend robbing his house in Los Angeles, Brown took to Instagram and let loose.
In a note he wrote, “These last couples months I’ve been the realest. I got a wake up call, got my heart broken, got my s–t together, lost the person I thought would be in my life for long time, went from being friends with everybody to only f–king with a few and staying low key. I learned nobodies really down for you like you think.”
In addition, Chris Brown also posted this, “That moment u wake up and realise who the f–k you are and how blessed you’ve been and finally understand you don’t need anyone for anything except GOD! Then u realise how much time you wasted on bulls–t and s–ty people!”
Back when he was on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show, Brown had this to say about his ex, Karrueche. When asked whether or not he wants her back, Brown told Ryan, “I’m going to be honest and be a man about it and just take it one day at a time. I can’t promise anything and I can’t jump over the moon, but it takes time for all wounds [to heal]. I take full responsibility for my actions and things that I’ve done in the past. I feel like it’s just a time thing.”
He continued, “I’m not a hateful person. Of course I still love her, but mentally right now, I think everything takes time. I just need to focus on being the best father I can be.”
As you may already know Karrueche broke up with Brown after she found out that he fathered a then six-month-old daughter named Royalty. Since learning that he was a father, Brown has been in Royalty’s life and has paid child support. That said, Karrueche wasn’t in it for any baby mama drama and left him. It’s taken a few forceful rejections for Brown to take the hint.
As for what’s going on in Brown’s immediate future, it’s all up in the air. Currently the singer is stuck in the Philippines, as he’s been stopped from leaving the country after performing at a concert in Manila on Tuesday. Brown is being kept in the country because he backed out of a 2014 performance even though he was paid $1 million for the gig. Now the government has brought a criminal complaint against the singer and his manager, John Michael Pio Roda.
