Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift Kiss and Make Up: The ‘Bad Blood’ Singer Shook It Off And Apologized, Apology Was Accepted

It looks like all is well once again between Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift. The Twitter feud has ended without too much bloodshed after apologies were made. Well, actually only one of them apologized, but they did kiss and make up after only one day of heated words.

The “Bad Blood” singer took to Twitter earlier today to tell Minaj that she was sorry for jumping to conclusions yesterday. Taylor Swift offered up an apology to her.

“I thought I was being called out. I missed the point, I misunderstood, then misspoke. I’m sorry, Nicki.”

The “Anaconda” singer was upset after she felt she got snubbed out of a nomination for MTV’s Video of the Year award. According to the Inquisitr, she let the world know just how she felt via social media.

After she had gone on a rant about not being recognized because of not having a very slim body and for black women not being recognized for their hard work in the music industry, Swift chose to respond. She told Nicki that she has always loved and supported her, and she didn’t appreciate her pitting women against women.

That got most of the Twitter world taking sides between the two women. Nicki Minaj fans, Swifties, Ed Sheeran, Meek Mill, Bruno Mars, Ryan Seacrest, and yes, even Katy Perry weighed in on the Twitter feud.

Now, it looks like all is well as Minaj read the apology from Taylor. She then sent out her note of appreciation.

However, many fans have said that Taylor shouldn’t have apologized in the first place as they didn’t think that she did anything wrong. Whether she was in the wrong or not, Swift chose to take the high road and stop inflaming the feud. She shook it off and made up with Nicki Minaj. It looks like the love is back between the two.

Whoopi Goldberg didn’t seem to think that this was a snub against Nicki at all. The host of The View spoke out about it on the show and reminded everyone that Beyonce, who is not a skinny model-type, was also nominated for Video of the Year.

“[Beyoncé] gets nominated so maybe [“Anaconda”] wasn’t their cup of tea. Maybe it wasn’t anything but that.”

At least the feud is over for now, and everyone can get back to normal. Maybe if Taylor wins at the MTV Music Awards, she will invite Nicki Minaj onstage with her.
