MTV Couple Jenelle Evans And Nathan Griffith Get Into A Fight Days After Engagement: ‘Stop Disrespecting Me!’
MTV couple Jenelle Evans and Nathan Griffith are seen fighting just days after their St. Thomas engagement in the latest Teen Mom 2 sneak peek. On July 23, People Magazine shared a preview of Thursday’s new episode, and in the video clip, the MTV couple’s relationship appears to have its cracks.
While chatting with her friend, Tori Rhyne, on Skype, Evans begins discussing a fight she and Griffith were involved in during St. Thomas, just days after they became engaged. According to Evans, one of Griffith’s friend’s girlfriends turned on her on the second to last day of their trip, claiming Evans didn’t deserve to have her children back.
When Rhyne wants to know where Griffith was when the woman, named Paula, was saying those things, Evans claimed he was right there, doing nothing to deny Paula’s statements.
“He’s standing in between the both of us not saying a word and telling me to go into the bed room and be quiet. The whole trip was supposed to be for the engagement and to be happy, but then everybody ended up ganging up on me, and because of it me and Nathan have been arguing. I tell Nathan, ‘I feel like you’re still not sticking up for me.’ “
As Evans vents to her friend, Griffith enters the room — and he’s not happy.
“Stop it. I told you stop disrespecting me. Do I ever disrespect you like that?”
The MTV couple should be celebrating their engagement, but instead, their relationship appears to be under more strain than ever. Luckily, however, the MTV couple is still together, as Evans recently confirmed. As the Inquisitr previously reported, Evans surfaced without her engagement ring earlier this week, prompting rumors of a possible split between the MTV couple. Days later, during an interview with Real Mr. Housewife, Evans said she and Griffith were together and happy.
“Yes we are! Why wouldn’t we be? I forgot my ring at home when I took it off to swim. I left it on my bathroom counter at home. We are together at this very moment eating lunch and on the beach.”
The MTV couple began dating in June, 2013, and in June, 2014, they welcomed their first child together, Kaiser Griffith. In January of this year, the MTV couple became engaged.
