Jim Bob And Michelle Duggar’s Anniversary Celebration And Special Gift: Does Son Josh Attend? [Video]

The Duggar clan is known for its solidarity. And the patriarch and matriarch’s 31st wedding anniversary is no different, despite the bad news that they recently received of TLC canceling their hit reality show 19 Kids And Counting. A video was posted of some of the celebration. Jim Bob, 50, gave Michelle, 48, a gift celebrating their large family. He gifted her with a ring composed of 19 birth stones — a huge sparkler — with each stone representing one of their 19 children.

Jim Bob apparently is still head-over-heels in love with Michelle. He made the following flattering statement to his one-and-only, according to ET.

“The greatest blessing of my life was 31 years ago, on July 21, 1984 when Michelle married me. She is the virtuous woman that Proverbs 31 talks about. She is the ultimate wife and mother and I love her more and more each day….She is an example to millions of women, her children rise up and call her blessed.”

Of course, they have presented a united front despite the release of information that eldest son Josh Duggar molested underage girls, including his sisters. Four of Josh’s five victims were his sisters, including Jessa and Jill. They stood by Josh, and he even moved back to home base in Arkansas, leaving Oxon Hill, Maryland behind. Josh and his wife even hired Kate Gosselin’s bodyguard after the molestation scandal broke. Now, Josh and his wife seemed as ease at the celebration, at least on the surface forgetting the many challenges they faced this past year. Josh and his wife Anna are seen in the video happily sitting, smiling on a couch together during the anniversary celebration. They had just announced the birth of their fourth child together, Meredith Grace. Their three other children are Mackynzie, 5, Michael, 4, and Marcus, 2, according to Channel 9 News.

Michelle, who is apparently still in love with Jim Bob, stated the following as she praised her husband’s qualities she admires, according to Channel 9 News.

“Recently, when one of our daughters asked, ‘Mom, what one quality should I look for in a future spouse?,’ as I considered the answer, I realized what it is that I admire so much in you, Jim Bob….It is that you love and honor God and in humility you are open & transparent with me, simply put, humility and the fear of the lord.”

The Duggars are supposedly heartbroken over the cancellation of their popular reality show, 19 Kids and Counting, and desire to return to television, believing that it’s part of God’s plan for them to spread the word about their faith, according to an article in the Inquisitr.
