‘Real Housewives’ Reach Out To Meghan King Edmonds After The Passing Of LeAnn Horton

Cast members from The Real Housewives of Orange County have reached out to Meghan King Edmonds following the death of LeAnn Edmonds, formerly LeAnn Horton.

During the 10th season of the Orange County-based Real Housewives series, fans met Edmonds for the first time, and learned that she and her stepdaughter’s mom, Horton, had a close relationship, and got along quite well. They also learned of Horton’s cancer diagnosis, which has sadly taken her life.

Although Vicki Gunvalson has fought with Edmonds since the season began, she took the time on July 22 to reach out to her fellow Real Housewives star, and let her know she was in her prayers.

Lizzie Rovsek, who appears on The Real Housewives of Orange County season 10 in a reduced role, did the same.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Horton’s death was confirmed earlier this morning by her daughter, Haley, who has been seen recently on The Real Housewives of Orange County. In an emotional post shared on Instagram, Haley opened up about life with her mother, and expressed her understandable heartache over her passing.

“Early this morning I lost the most important person in my life. I’m so blessed to have had these past 17 years with you. But that will never be enough for me. I can’t imagine my life without you and I never imagined this day would come. You were an inspiration to everyone who knew you and I will aspire to be everything you were. You truly lived life to the fullest and were such a fighter. The memories we made will forever be instilled in me and I’ll never forget the good times we had.”

Horton has been a hot topic of discussion for weeks on The Real Housewives of Orange County, as well as in several blogs. On the show, Edmonds has expressed her doubt in Brooks Ayers’ cancer diagnosis, claiming what he’s going through does not appear remotely similar to what Horton had endured.

The Real Housewives of Orange County season 10 airs on Monday nights at 9 p.m. on Bravo. No word yet on whether or not Horton is included in the remainder of the show.
