Gal Gadot Interview Reveals Wonder Woman’s ‘Batman V Superman’ Inspiration & Superhero Workout [Photos]

Gal Gadot has a new interview that is turning Wonder Woman into a different sort of wonder. Gal, who stars in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, poses provocatively for Interview magazine, reported E! News.

Once known as Miss Israel before she chose an acting career, Gadot wears only lingerie in some of the shocking Interview photos. And when she does don a skirt, it’s tossed casually up above her bra.

However, Gal does not want to focus on lingerie. Gadot has been enthusiastic in interviews about what portraying Wonder Woman means to her.

“I’m so excited about this role,” said the superhero actress. “I feel like I’ve been given a huge opportunity to inspire people, not only women. And not because of me but because of who Wonder Woman is and what she stands for. There’s a lot of responsibility. But I have the best team and the best people to work with. It’s going to be an amazing ride, knock on wood.”

In addition to winning the title of Miss Israel, Gal modeled and began law school.

But after she auditioned for the new Bond girl (a role she didn’t get), she decided to lose the lawyer dreams and pursue acting.

“A month later, I landed the lead role for a TV series in Israel,” revealed Gadot. “And two months later, the same casting director cast me for Fast & Furious [in 2009]. The rest is history.”

After working with Paul Walker in the film, Gal still feels emotional about his death.

“He was a great man. He was an angel in life. He was so down-to-earth, so interested in everyone. He was a rare person. I still miss him and will miss him forever.”

For the new Wonder Woman, getting into hot superhero shape is essential. Gadot has revealed in interviews that she’s working out rigorously, reported ScreenRant.

Sharing photos of herself in fitness gear, Gal is fighting those reports that she wasn’t muscular enough to play the superhero. Some Wonder Woman fans wanted a mixed martial arts fighter’s body or a bodybuilder frame, but Gal is determined to prove them wrong by muscling up through exercise.

And rather than use only one form of fitness, Gadot is tackling every type of sport, she said in an E! News interview.

“I just keep active—everything that’s challenging me, everything that I feel like doing,” said the new Wonder Woman. “It’s not like I’m only TRX or Pilates. I do sports.”

However, Gal is a fan of TRX.

“Everything’s working your whole body,” said Gadot of TRX. “I do cardio, but I don’t like it as much. I’d rather do weights.”

As for diet, Gal eats right with an occasional indulgence, for which she compensates with water.

“I try to eat healthy,” said the actress. “But sometimes though, I eat cheeseburgers. That’s good for the soul. I make sure to balance everything out. I drink tons of water.”

And Gadot isn’t the only one advocating that diet guideline. As the Inquisitr reported, Khloe Kardashian succeeded in transforming her own body through some simple weight loss tips, including drinking plenty of water.
