‘Teen Wolf’ Creator Predicts A ‘Dark And Dire’ End To Scott’s Pack

Warning: This article may contain spoilers for Teen Wolf.

The latest episode of Teen Wolf only seemed to add to the growing feeling that Scott and his pack has met their match in this season’s villains, the Dread Doctors. This week’s episode of Teen Wolf dealt a serious blow to the bond that has held Scott (Tyler Posey) and his pack together, and much of that was beyond Scott’s control, seemingly fated to happen.

The newest episode of Teen Wolf saw Stiles (Dylan O’Brien) drawn into a fight against Donovan (Ashton Moio) and, as it turned out, Stiles was compelled to kill him, before joining forces with Lydia (Holland Roden) in her efforts to learn more about the Dread Doctors. Stiles and Lydia sought out Valack (Steven Brand), knowing that he held information about the Dread Doctors, who later tracked Valack down to kill him. Kira (Arden Cho) was subjected to an electrical reaction at Eichen House, before Scott was able to save her.

Although it seems that the Dread Doctors have their sights set on ending Valack’s life in Teen Wolf this week, the Teen Wolf creator, Jeff Davis, says that fans shouldn’t count Valack out so soon.

“Definitely not the last you’ll see of Valack. We’ll learn more in the second half of season five about how he gains a level of control over Eichen House. This episode also points Lydia in the direction of figuring out what happened to her in the operating room during her surgery and whether or not it was actually a memory or something stranger.”

Meanwhile, the electrical reaction at Eichen House had much more of an effect on Kira than she lets on to her friends and even to Scott, which may ultimately lead to a divide later on in the Teen Wolf season.

“Kira will begin to pull away from Scott and her friends, believing that she may be doing more harm than good. This season is all about power going haywire for Kira,” the Teen Wolf E.P. said. “Unfortunately, this may be one of the last good moments for Kira and Scott. The rise in her power and her lack of control begins to push them apart.”

In fact, the Teen Wolf creator says that these may be the last good times for any of Teen Wolf‘s heroes for quite some time. The story of the Dread Doctors and the way these villains affect Scott and his pact will extend long into the next season as well.

“As is typical with most of our seasons, things get dark and dire in the latter half. The finale is actually more of a midpoint since our story will continue into the next ten episodes. Scott and his friends will face the possible dissolution of their pack and even their friendships.”

The next episode of Teen Wolf will air on Monday July 27 on MTV.
