Kaitlyn Bristowe Thanks Chris Harrison: Fans Not Pleased With Social Media Segment

Kaitlyn Bristowe may not be the most popular Bachelorette in the show’s history, but her journey has brought up some interesting discussions. Kaitlyn was quickly labeled because she chose to have sex on television with Nick Viall. It is interesting because many former contestants have had sex before, but they kept it in the fantasy suite. Now, Chris Harrison is defending Kaitlyn for choosing to have sex with the microphone on.

Kaitlyn Bristowe opened up about the hatred she had experienced on the show in a brief segment on the Men Tell All special, and it sounded like everyone was shocked, including the men. Harrison shared some of the tweets Bristowe had been receiving, and they included death threats.

According to a new tweet, Kaitlyn Bristowe is now revealing that she is very thankful for the support that Chris Harrison showed her throughout the season as he understands her need to explore every relationship to the fullest in hopes of finding a husband.

“I’m proud to call you my friend too Chris Harrison you have helped me through a lot,” Kaitlyn Bristowe tweeted as the Men Tell All special aired last night, and Chris decided to read some of the tweets and emails Kaitlyn received while the show was airing.

But not every person was thrilled about learning of these tweets. It is no secret that Kaitlyn Bristowe isn’t the most popular person on television these days. Bristowe has received various labels, and these were brought up last night.

“I’m sorry Chris Harrison why is this necessary?! #MenTellAll,” one person tweeted to Harrison, which had him replying, “Because it’s not ok!”

Kaitlyn Bristowe has also opened up about how hurtful the threats have been. As Bristowe points out, she can handle them herself, but she isn’t pleased with how her family has been affected. Usually, the final contestant is criticized about the person he or she will potentially choose, and according to the Inquisitr, Kaitlyn does have a tough decision ahead. But last night, it was all about the social media hate.

“That was TOUGH to relive. Hearing Chris Harrison reading those Tweets and comments doesn’t get any easier. People can be mean. I understand a couple jabs and chirps. I throw them out there in good humor, and opinions are fine. I can handle that. But hating and calling me awful names is not cooooool. The “haters” go out of their way to shame me for my behavior and don’t acknowledge their own. I made mistakes and went through tough times. I did things that I would do in a relationship. I was being true to myself. You don’t have to agree with it, but don’t tell me I should crawl in a hole and die,” Bristowe reveals in her blog.
