Florida Gun Supply Storeowner Andy Hallinan Declares ‘Muslim-Free’ Zone, Claims No Racism Existed In America Until President Obama Took Office [Video]

There’s a new YouTube video called “Chatanooga [sic] Shooting: Florida Gun Supply’s Response to Terrorism” taking off that’s certainly getting plenty of attention online. The video, published on July 18, has gotten more than 11,000 views since that time. Perhaps because of the heated comments that the video, which misspells “Chattanooga” as “Chatanooga,” put forth in the video under the guise of patriotism, is why the link to the video is being shared on Reddit and other places a-plenty. Andy Hallinan makes his views about having a “Muslim-free” gun store known.

“I’m declaring Florida Gun Supply as a ‘Muslim-free’ zone.”

The owner goes on to speak about Jihadists and not arming them for a war against Americans, and claims that racism didn’t exist prior to President Obama taking office. There’s also a history lesson on the Confederate flag.

“Watch as Florida Gun Supply makes 3 new EXTREME policy changes in response to the latest terrorist attack on our country. Please watch, share, and then get armed, get trained, and carry daily.”

In response to the Chattanooga shooting, the Florida Gun Supply store owner says he’s changing his policies to make their concealed carry classes free and his shooting range open to the public. However, it’s the change about the “Muslim-free” zone in his store that has everyone talking about the YouTube video.

“If they come in here and they say, ‘Hey, I don’t believe in Jihad. And I don’t believe that killing some innocent people in the name of religion is the right thing to do,’ then they’re as American as you or I.”

As reported by WKMG Orlando?, the fact that the owner declared the Florida gun store a ‘Muslim-free’ zone has ruffled feathers and brought attention to the store.

“I will not arm and train those who wish to do harm to my fellow patriots.”

The Palm Beach Post? points to the Florida gun store owner’s ‘Muslim-free’ zone decision being blamed on the Chattanooga shootings.

As reported by the Inquisitr, it isn’t the first time a gun store or shooting range has declared a “Muslim-free” zone. It’s a move that harkens some back to troubling times during the Holocaust when Nazi Germany disallowed Jewish patrons from patronizing certain stores.

As expected, the Florida gun store owner has created a big bruhaha on Twitter, as witnessed by searching for the phrase “Muslim-free” on the social networking site.

Plenty of vitriol and hate exists under the “Muslim-free” hashtag, with some folks support the movement with racist statements requesting a “Muslim-free” America and the like — not distinguishing radical terrorists from Muslims.
